Emptying The Backpack
Hello! I am a writer, pastor, storyteller, dancer and musician living with one foot in the mountains of Tennessee and the other in the beaches of St. Augustine, Florida. I retired in 2022 and this is my next iteration: unpacking all that I’ve been slinging into the backpack for the past 45 years when work kept me too busy to reflect as much as I needed or would like.
When I am not writing, you will find me walking, dancing, drumming, hugging my precious grandchildren and traveling, biking or playing pickleball with my most wonderful husband. The photo to the right, I mean, your other right, was taken in Venice, Italy, in September, 2022.
